Central Sarasota is a densely populated area of homes, townhomes, condominiums and multi-family homes almost completely contained within the City of Sarasota. It is bounded by Beneva Road to the east, 301 to the West, 17th Street to the north and Bahia Vista Street to the south. Landmarks include Ed Smith Stadium, home of the Baltimore Oriole’s spring training, the Little League Park and the Cal Ripkin Little League program. A steady stream of events, concerts and the County Fair are held on the Robart’s Arena grounds and a historic Amish and Mennonite community dominates the Pinecraft neighborhood which dates back to the 1920’s.
